TWO GINGERS Gin have embarked on an audacious mission: to break a world record for ‘the most people tasting gin in one place’, and invite you to raise a glass with them and collectively etch our names into the record books.
Whether you’re a gin enthusiast, a music lover or someone looking to be a part of history, Moving the Mountain Cape Town’s Record Breaking Music Fest, is your opportunity to shine and enjoy a day of fun, food, music and merriment!

Event Outline
This world record breaking endeavour will take centre stage against the iconic backdrop of Table Mountain, and while the attempt to get our names in the history books is at the heart of the festival, the entertainment line-up is nothing short of legendary.
The event will be officially inaugurated by the City of Cape Town’s Deputy Mayor,Eddie Andrews with the auditing process being overseen by top spirits judge, Leah van Deventer.

Ticket Overview
Golden Circle ticket holders need to please make your way directly to the cordoned off Golden Circle area in front of the stage, where, upon entry, you will receive your goody bags. Please be in the Golden Circle by 11h30 so that the audited record of the biggest number of people tasting gin at the same time can be broken!
General access ticket holders are welcome to sit where they please on the field or in the stands.
FOR ALL – Please DO NOT open your gin until the official opening of the audited record attempt as this will jeopardise our chances of collectively breaking the world record.
Giving Back
Moving the Mountain is not just about celebration and breaking records, it’s about sharing the blessings. A portion of the event proceeds will be dedicated to three charitable causes:
Wandisa -a specialist child protection and adoption agency
U-Turn – equipping people with skills to overcome homelessness
TEARS – Animal Rescue

No alcohol allowed into the venue, no food, no weapons, no drugs, no glass bottles or containers, no gas or charcoal braais, no gazebos, no hawkers.
You are welcome to bring picnic blankets and cushions for the field.
