This is a homegrown brand from Muizenberg in Cape Town, the brainchild of Simon Cranswick and Wynand de Vries, two unlikely friends who share their ‘ginger’ hair colour and cheerful spirit. They’ve created and produced four award-winning gins in under a year, with La Primavera launching in September, completing their ‘four seasons in one day’ portfolio. Two Gingers Gins have already received five gold and double gold awards from the Merit Wine & Spirit Challenge and the SA Craft Gin Awards.
