Two Gingers presents Cape Cheers: A Cape Town Gin Festival

Apr 8, 2024

From Cape Town Etc – 29 February 2024

Gin enthusiasts take note: Cape Cheers Gin Festival is coming to Cape Town, courtesy of the acclaimed South African craft gin brand, Two Gingers.

Promising an exciting experience, Cape Cheers aims to set the world record for ‘the most people drinking gin in one place.’

Hosted at the Gember Distillery in Muizenberg, the brand home of Two Gingers Gin, Cape Cheers offers attendees an unforgettable day filled with gin tastings, live music and delectable food options.

With a ticket priced at R280, you’ll receive four mini bottles of Two Gingers Gin to participate in the official Guinness World Record tasting, overseen by international judge Cathy Marston.

The festival isn’t just about breaking records; it’s about celebrating with a bang. Groove to the tunes of Sunset Sweatshop, a feel-good rock band, and local talents like Natalie Rae, Ambience and Sons of Selassie.

DJ Andre will ensure the party vibes continue well into the night.

No festival is complete without delicious food and Cape Cheers delivers with a variety of food trucks offering mouthwatering street food.

Plus, multiple bars will be serving up your favourite gin concoctions, including the signature Two Gingers G&Ts.

Simon Cranswick and Wynand de Vries, the proud Capetonian founders of Two Gingers, invite attendees to share in their passion for gin and celebration.

With a philosophy rooted in traditional artisanal methods, Two Gingers is known for crafting exceptional gins. Their tagline, ‘Still Talking,’ refers to both letting the gin speak for itself and creating a space for conversations and connections among gin lovers.

Join Two Gingers at Cape Cheers for a day of camaraderie, entertainment and, hopefully, record-breaking fun.
